Konami´s highlights on local market at SAGSE 2024

(Buenos Aires, SoloAzar Exclusive) - The regulated market in the Latam region, the role of consumer engagement, new market trends and upcoming full Agenda events were some of the relevant topics addressed by Eduardo Aching, Vice President of International Gaming Operations at Konami Gaming Inc. during the interview about the firm's participation in the recent edition of SAGSE, held at the Hilton Hotel Puerto Madero, on 20-21 March, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Konami Gaming, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of slot machines and casino management systems for the global gaming market. The purpose of participating at SAGSE 2024 is to connect with customers about online gaming. Eduardo Aching, VP of Konami Gaming Inc. said that “As iGaming expands to more diverse global markets, to more operators entering the space, and to more players engaging in online slot entertainment, Konami is excited to support with dozens of world-famous slot games”.

Related to the challenge faced by the gaming industry in Argentina, Mr. Eduardo Aching reflected on the regulated online market of the region: “Regulated online gaming is an emerging sector in Argentina, and Latin America more broadly. As with any emerging sector, the challenges include scalable technology, consumer adoption, and responsibility and integrity. In terms of technology, Konami’s remote gaming server (RGS) supports a wide range of online gaming sites with robust HTML5 delivery—compatible across smartphones, tablets, and desktop devices. With games like China Shores, Quick Strike, Jumpin’ Jalapenos, and many more”.
Konami´s games are well known for its popular slots found at land-based casinos across the globe and are also available online for the consumers: “Konami helps build consumer awareness and adoption of online gaming sites/apps, because our games are already recognized and loved by players from the land-based casinos”, add Mr. Aching.

“Lastly”, said Eduardo, “Konami is a great partner for supporting game integrity and responsible gaming, because we have a proven track record for regulatory compliance across hundreds of global jurisdictions over several decades”.
When asked about the trends in the market and how they are responding to those trends, Eduardo commented that they observe that “consumers had the desire to engage with brands both online and through traditional brick and mortar locations. And he added: “the gaming industry is one of many industries that is experiencing this trend toward omni-channel consumer engagement, which we’re working to serve. When Konami’s online slots are used in conjunction with traditional land-based Konami slots, it provides operators with the advantage of omni-channel delivery of player-favorite games. We hope to work with more of our customers to deliver this omni-channel strategy.”
Finally, the VP at Konami Gaming Inc, told us that they had full agenda for the upcoming months, with plans to attend some iGaming events. This includes: the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, G2E Asia, Peru Gaming Show, Australasian Gaming Expo, G2E Las Vegas, and more.
